Fletcher’s annual Free Fair was held Thursday through Sunday and included events such as animal judging, crafts, a pie auction, game booths, live music and food. The fair kicked off Thursday with “Pioneer Days,” where students from area schools learned what life was like for pioneers in the area. A parade down Cole Avenue showcased floats for Fletcher's Class Kings and Queens, local businesses, antique tractors, horses and the Pride of Elgin marching band. This year's parade theme was: Boardgames.
