WMWR - Visitors to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge can now take a guided photography class. Steven Enter, the only permitted guide for the Refuge, can take groups of up to 10 on educational hikes featuring various points of interest including Parallel Forest, Jed Johnson Lake, Heart Rock and more. “The class is meant for novice photographers looking to improve their skills or experienced photographers who need a guide to some of the most picturesque spots in the refuge,” said Steven. Photography instruction includes basic camera settings, lighting, composition and subject selection. Periodic stops are made to take advantage of unique photo opportunities like bison and other wildlife, rock formations, floral scenes and lakes. There are currently three different class options and are $18 per participant and are booked through AirBnB Experiences at https://www.airbnb.com/ experiences/1232057?source=p2.
