As 2020 comes to close, I am always thankful and grateful for what I have been blessed with. With not any local high school sports going on, I decide to end this years papers with a review from past newspapers.

I had the feeling when sports were canceled the way Don McLean must have felt when he sang “The Day the music died”. The OSSAA finally had to shut down the season when on March 16, when the Oklahoma State Department of Education canceled classes until April 6, which then canceled all extracurricular activities as well.

Here’s to a better 2021. As always, stay safe and healthy.
